Candidate for Partnership: Novoarkhangelsk Municipality
The Novoarkhangelsk municipality, is a place steeped in history and flourishing in the heart of central Ukraine since its establishment in 1742. Nestled within are three lyceum schools, boasting seven locations. These schools cater to students from primary to high school levels, offering a diverse range of educational opportunities, including an art school and specialized technical training at the college level.
The inhabitants of Novoarkhangelsk hold dear their ties to the wider world and have had a cultural exchange with counterparts in Poland. Sporting fervor courses through the community, with activities such as boxing, soccer, volleyball, kayaking, and canoeing capturing the collective spirit.
For more than a quarter of a century, the town has played host to visiting scientists engaged in annual archaeological research. Their endeavors have unveiled a medieval bath, pottery workshops, a waterworks, and an ancient settlement cemetery. Today, Novoarkhangelsk proudly boasts six historical monuments and eighteen archaeological marvels.
Nestled along the pristine shores of the Sinyukha River is the Brigantina Children's Health Center, an idyllic retreat beside one of Ukraine's cleanest waterways. The surrounding forest tracts of "Fomikha" and "Kuchery" have earned protected status, adding a touch of natural splendor to the area. Tourists seeking respite will find solace in the green estate "U Mikulicha," a haven near the forest and pond.
The leadership and residents of the Novoarkhangelsk Municipality would welcome a cooperation with an American city and hope to explore shared interests in

They hope that their American counterparts will discover the allure of Novoarkhangelsk, where history, education, and nature converge in harmony.
